Jane’s Review
Taunting Destiny is book two in the series and the storyline continues from book 1. Syn and Adam are going through the transition and Ryder is helping Syn to get through it. As much as Syn tries she cant seem to escape Ryder.
Wow this is a fantastic read, Ryder is still very sexy he is is also hiding something and I can’t wait to see what that is. I love him even more in book 2 and I feel that I am getting to know the real Ryder. By the time I had finished reading I was hooked on him and now I think that he is my all time favourite male that I have ever read about.
I am also loving Ristan he is a very funny and kinky demon, Vlad is also another one of my favourite characters and would really love to read more about them.
As much as I try to dislike Syn I just can’t she is a fantastic strong woman and I felt that she has grown so much in this book, I am however very envious of her being so close to Ryder. The chemistry between Ryder and Syn feels so realistic and brilliant with really graphic hot sex scenes scenes that will leave you in need of a cold shower.
This is so well written I found myself sucked in to this world that Amelia has created.
This does have an abrupt ending that left me screaming and then bawling my eyes out and yes it was ugly crying, I still feel like crying now and I finished it hours ago. It has been a long time since a book I have read has had this effect on me and this one will stay on my mind for a long time…. I just wish I can read the next one right away.
By far the best book I have read in 2013 so far and a must for all the supernatural/romance/erotica readers out there.
